Chi Limpiroj

Chi Limpiroj, (pronounced Chee Lim-Pie-Ro) was born on the 1st February 1991 in Manchester, United Kingdom. She started playing the violin at the age of 10, after religiously having recorder lessons at primary school, which was the start of her musicianship. As she grew older, she took an interest in the bass, and had lessons for a year or so before family problems cropped up and she never went back to her lessons.

Lost Summer Kitten was born late in December 2005, when 2/4 of our band left us for other missions.

Aqua

Aqua is a - dance-pop group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single Barbie Girl. Initially forming as Joyspeed in 1989, the band was renamed Aqua in 1994 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish band ever and the second most successful Norwegian band.

Karima Francis

Karima Francis is a young singer/songwriter from Blackpool, England. Nineteen years old, as of 2006, she is now based in Manchester, intending to study music. Originally a drummer also providing backing vocals for alternative/indie band Litterbug in her home town, she had only recently became a singer, and also plays the guitar. This change of direction has revealed a singer of enormous range and power who has been likened by some to a young Joan Armatrading, but who has a unique style of her own. This is coupled with a small number of lyrical and powerful self-written songs.

Jo Whiley is a British radio disc jockey on BBC Radio 1 born in Northampton, England on the 4 July 1965. She went to Campion School (Bugbrooke) and then university in Brighton. Blonde and often wearing Dr. Martens, she broadcasts from 10 a.m. until 12.45 p.m. every weekday. She enjoys live music and has bands and solo artists playing live in the studio frequently. From September 1993 until February 1997 (the heydays of Britpop - Blur and Pulp), she hosted a weekday evening show called The Evening Session with Steve Lamacq from 7 until 9 p.

Eliane Elias

Eliane Elias (b. 1960) is a Brazilian jazz composer, pianist, and singer. Born on the 19th March 1960 in São Paulo, Brazil, Elias started learning to play the piano at the age of seven, and was transcribing solo portions of her parents’ jazz records by the age of twelve. After studying for six years (and teaching by the age of fifteen) at Brazil’s prestigious Free Centre of Music Apprenticeship, she continued her classical education with Amilton Godoy and Amaral Vieria.
