Revolution

There's multiple artist s/bands that calls themself Revolution 1) Revolution is multi-award winning duo made out of twin bothers, George and Joseph Mothiba. Without any doubt, Revolution is one of the best things ever to happen in the South African music industry. The journey of Revolution began in the dusty streets of Alexandra township, where the two grew up and today they are one of the top producers and top house music ambassadors in the country and they own their independent record label, Four Sounds Productions.

Martin L. Gore

Martin Lee Gore (born July 23, 1961 in Dagenham, Essex, England) a member of the band Depeche Mode since its inception in 1980. He is currently the primary songwriter, and also plays keyboard and guitar. He is also the backup singer, and sometimes the lead singer. In 2003, Martin released Counterfeit2, a solo cover album follow-up to his 1989 Counterfeit EP. Both feature his takes on other people's material, and he has stated publicly before that he considers himself not the most prolific songwriter, and prefers to keep his own material for Depeche Mode albums.

Obscenity Trial

In 1993, Oliver Wand, along with Guido Adolphi, founded Obscenity Trial. It was the cornerstone for a future development that nobody would have predicted. After a 6 year separation, 2004 saw the band reborn -- and finally releasing it's debut album, "Here and Now". More than a simple statement, the album is the exclamation behind the band's remarkable history. Produced by legendary electronics wizard Olaf Wollschlaeger (Melotron, In Strict Confidence, Seabound, Vorsprung dur Technik), the album contains their own singular brand of genre-straddling electropop.

Siriusmo

Siriusmo (Moritz Friedrich) is from Berlin, and is signed to MonkeyTown records. He has released a handful of EPs over the years, including Diskoding, Allthegirls, Minirock, and the Sirius EP. He works regularly with Modeselektor, either through collaboration or remixing. After having said he would not DJ or perform live, due to conflicting interests, he finally gave in when he performed his first live mix on a radio show in 2010.

Blitz & the Sheets

Blitz and the Sheets started out as an online popcombo in the comfort of an East-london warehouse. A new member was recruited and the threesome formed a band in December 06 and did their first ever gig one month later at Bethnal Green's Pleasure Unit. (Jan. 07) Most recently Blitz and the Sheets have a fourth member. The band lives and rehearses in Hackney. Current set-up consists of a drumsequencer (Blue Korg Electribe , Elektron Monomachine), two synths (Alesis Ion and Korg MS2000), a sampler (Korg silver electribe), a fender made in mexico and Boss Loopstation.

Applicants

Pop 'n' roll trio Applicants were formed by Fidel Villeneuve, Paul Blades and Jeffrey James. Applicants make chaotic indie-pop comprising distorted drum loops, electric guitars, sound FX and vocals, the lyrics seeming relentlessly silly on the surface, but containing some depth if you look for it. Their blood-drenched live show has become infamous after gigs up and down the UK, including a headline slot at Frog.
