Dntel

Dntel is the solo project of Jimmy Tamborello. Dntel is known for mixing glitch and cut-up electronic techniques with instruments like acoustic guitars, accordions, and symphonic instruments. Dntel is also the project that spawned The Postal Service. He started working as Dntel, pronounced Din-tell, in 1994. A collection of tracks created between 1995-1997 (Early Works For Me If It Works For You) was released on the Phthalo label in 1999, followed by the release of an EP recorded in 1994 (Something Always Goes Wrong) in 2000.

Eleanoora Rosenholm

Eleanoora Rosenholm comes from Pori, Finland and is a project begun by Noora Tommila, Pasi Salmi and Mika Rättö. They crafted a genius pop album with murderous lyrics inside the dark stonewalls that surround SS-Palace studio. Time came to get the show on the road and the band evolved into a full 8 piece with Mika Rättö working as a background godfather and often watching the band as a part of the audience.

Noisy Pig

Noisy Pig is the alter ego of Bernardo Santarelli, the Berlin based musical and video performer.
Noisy Pig has developed a unique sound that mixes different elements: techno with synth-pop, catchy melodies with lo-fi guitars, sarcastic lyrics with queer topics. Breaking from the cliques of the underground, Noisy Pig uses his naive touch and playful style to create a new platform where he can express twisted attitudes.

The Penelopes

There are at least two bands using the name The Penelopes: From Japan 1) The Japanese twee-pop outfit the Penelopes was essentially the work of singer/songwriter Tatsuhiko Watanabe; the group debuted in 1992 with the album In a Big Golden Cage, followed a year later by Touch the Ground. Although by this time the band was primarily a Watanabe solo project, he maintained the Penelopes' name for 1997's Kiss of Life; A Place in the Sun, issued that same year, was the first LP issued on Watanabe's own Vaudeville Park label.

There is more than one artist with this name. 1. Cassette are South African and basically rad. 5 people make up the band, 4 guys making noise and 1 lady pulling it all together. 2. Cassette are a 3-piece New Zealand band who make stunning indie rock records with a country soul. They are working on their second album at the moment and have released two EPs. 3. Cassette is a Boston, MASS, US based synth pop group with a knack for melody, drama and scott walker-esque baritone.
