Firing Squad is the name of at least two bands. This page is for the Polish death metal band Firing Squad. Firing Squad is also an "indie"/punk band from New York, USA formed in 2008. On last.fm they use the id3 artist tag "Firing Squad (NY)" to differentiate themselves from the Polish death metal band of the same name. In all other contexts they are known simply as Firing Squad.

The very first meeting between Grubson and Hip-Hop took place in 1993, courtesy of his older brother - DJ Hudy, who started to promote 'black' music in his hometown Rybnik while organizing Hip-Hop parties - so called 'Rapoteki'. Grubson started to take Hip-Hop more serious at the end of 1997 when his first group "Po-3na Roznica" was formed (Grubson, Max, Rav). Tracks were recorded in the cellar onto the 1/4 inch recorder.

Zbigniew Preisner (b. 1955) is one of Poland's leading film score composers, best known for his work with film director Krzysztof Kieślowski. Preisner was born on 20th May 1955 in Bielsko-Biała. He studied history and philosophy in Kraków; never having received formal music lessons, he taught himself about music by listening and transcribing parts from records. His compositional style represents a distinctively spare form of tonal neo-Romanticism.

Heavy/thrash metal band from Poland. Formed in 2002. At the beginning their music was inspired by classic heavy metal bands like Judas Priest, Annihilator, Black Sabbath etc.
They recorded two demos and one single until early 2007. Then they changed their lead singer from Paweł Kluczewski to Klaudia Kozień. On January 12th, 2008 they release their firt full-length record Forward, which contains some former demo tunes but also brand new songs.
