Ben Goddard

Ben Goddard has spent the last three years of his life trying to tour and make friends with people he meets. He uses a strummed guitar and a soft vocal lilt to lure you in. Once ensnared by a web of warm, friendly, genuine behaviour and honest, soulful singing you'll fall for him just enough for a little smile to creep across your face. Don't worry though, he'll still care and if he can he'll call the morning after too to check you got home ok.

Rebecca Worthley

Sparkly, beguiling acoustic pop. Its Rebeccas voice that will hit you first. Rebecca Worthley has been writing songs since she picked up her mums old classical guitar at the age of 16. Surrounded by music in her upbringing, with her pianist father and operatic mother, her many harmony-wielding siblings gave the family a distinct Family Von-Trapp feel. Rebecca was driven to share her music almost as soon as it came into existence and performed at her school, at friend’s weddings and in living rooms across the country.

Artist Type:

Lux Harmonium

Like the unearthing of an Alan Lomax recording or a gem from some back-room of Cecil Sharpe house; Luke Jones' Lux Harmonium is doubtless to be cited next to modern day guitar virtuosos' James Blackshaw, Glenn Jones or the late Jack Rose. Details are few (seemingly intentionally) but this double A-Side is handpicked from an album of recordings by the Devon based Luke Jones. Treading somewhere between the delta folk world of John Fahey or Leo Kottke and an altogether more outsider pop of Robert Wyatt; Lux Harmonium manage to take a menagerie of influences and make them sound altogether.

Artist Type:
