The Watersons
An English folk group from Hull, Yorkshire, the Watersons performed mainly traditional songs with little or no accompaniment. Their distinctive sound came from their close harmonies. Original members were Norma Waterson, Mike Waterson, and Lal Waterson, with their cousin John Harrison from Kingston High School. They had a skiffle band in the early 1960s but moved on to playing more traditional material. They were briefly known as "The Folksons".

Bob Fox, folk singer, is from Seaham near the City of Sunderland on the North East coast of England. Blessed with one of the best voices you will ever hear. He is also a very talented musician playing guitar, piano and dulcimer. Add to that a full and varied repertoire of traditional and modern songs and plenty of good 'crack'.
Norma Waterson
Norma Christine Waterson (born 15th August 1939) is an English singer, best known as one of the original members of The Watersons, an english traditional music group. Other members of the group included her brother Mike Waterson and sister Lal Waterson, and in a later incarnatiosn of the group her husband Martin Carthy. Waterson was born in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire. Her solo debut album, Norma Waterson, was produced by John Chelew and released by Hannibal Records in 1996, and was well-received (being nominated for the Mercury Music Prize)...
Frankie Armstrong
Frankie Armstrong (born January 13, 1941 in Workington, Cumbria, England) is a singer and voice teacher. She moved to Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire as a young child. She began singing in a group with her brother singing Elvis Presley and Little Richard numbers, and in 1957 joined the Stort Valley Skiffle Group which a few years later changed its name to the Ceilidh Singers as its repertoire moved towards folk music. The group founded the Hoddesdon Folk Club.
