Christopher Anton Rea (pronounced Ree-ah), born 4 March 1951, is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Middlesbrough, England. He started his music career in 1978. Rea's initial focus was on continental Europe, releasing eight albums in the 1980s. It wasn't until 1985's Shamrock Diaries and the songs "Stainsby Girls" and "Josephine," that UK audiences began to take notice of him. Follow up albums On The Beach and Dancing With Strangers became UK hits and then the New Light Through Old Windows compilation album in 1988 cemented his reputation.

John Charles Waite, born on July 4, 1955, in Lancaster, Lancashire, England, is a rock singer. Waite has been a solo artist for most of his career but was first known as lead singer of The Babys a group which had moderate chart success but enjoyed a solid following for their concert tours. Shortly after the release of the Babys' fifth album "On the Edge" in October 1980 the group broke up. Waite launched his solo career with his 1982 album titled Ignition, which produced the hit single "Change" written by Holly Knight and included on the Vision Quest soundtrack.

There are more than one artists named Pussycat. 1. Pussycat was a Dutch country music band driven by the three Kowalczyk sisters: Tonny, Betty and Marianne. They scored a number of hits in the 70s. In 1976 they scored their biggist hit with the song Mississippi, which climbed to number one in the UK Singles Chart. It was later followed by "Smile" in 1976, and "Hey Joe" in 1978. 2.
