Robert Randolph & The Family Band

Robert Randolph & The Family Band is a multicultural American blues and funk band composed of Robert Randolph, Marcus Randolph (drums), Danyel Morgan (bass), and Jason Crosby (organ). Frontman Robert Randolph was trained as a pedal steel guitarist in the House of God Church, Keith Dominion, in Nashville, TN and makes prominent use of the instrument in the band's music. The group's sound is inspired by successful 1970s funk bands such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Sly & the Family Stone, another multicultural band comprised of former members of the Church of God in Christ.

Phaedra may refer to a number of artists. 1) Phaedra is the musical persona of Norwegian artist and singer Ingvild Langgård, making music that blends dream folk, wooden instruments, psychedelia, medieval hymns and reversed singing, among other things. Her first album, The Sea was released by hailed independent label Rune Grammofon in january 2011 on white vinyl, cd and streaming/mp3 - a conceptual album being the first part of a forthcoming trilogy. The album tells stories of honeydewed autumns, blackwinged animals, the darkest of hours, and, well; the sea.

Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan

Isobel Campbell is the former cellist and backup vocalist for Belle & Sebastian, as well as leader of The Gentle Waves. Mark Lanegan used to be the frontman of the Seattle grunge band The Screaming Trees, has recently played with Queens of the Stone Age, and formed together with Greg Dulli The Gutter Twins. John Martyn OBE, born Iain David McGeachy (11 September 1948 – 29 January 2009), was a British singer-songwriter and guitarist. Over a forty-year career he released twenty studio albums.
He grew up in Glasgow and attended Shawlands Academy. John Martyn moved to London from Glasgow in the mid 1960s. He made his initial recorded impact in 1967, at the age of 19, with his debut album London Conversation. Since then he has become an integral part of the British music scene, incorporating folk, blues, jazz and even reggae into his unique sound.
