Tina Cousins is a singer of electronic music, from Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, England, born April 20, 1974. She first achieved global success by appearing on German DJ/producer team Sash!'s single "Mysterious Times" in 1998, which lead to a string of other releases, notably "Forever","Killin' time", "Pray","Angel" and most recently her cover of Black's "Wonderful Life".
Ólöf Arnalds was born in 1980. In 2006 she graduated from the Iceland Academy of the Arts with a B.A. degree in composition and new media. She's múm's collaborator for the past years, and has also played with many other Icelandic bands and musicians, such as Slowblow or Stórsveit Nix Noltes. One of Ólöf´s most recent collaborations was her part on Skúli Sverrisson's critically acclaimed album Sería where she plays guitar, charanga, viola and sings her own lyrics. Hank Green (May 5, 1980) is one of the two founders of the video blog project Brotherhood 2.0 that inspired the community of cool nerds known as Nerdfighters. Hank wrote many of his songs for his Brotherhood 2.0 videos. He and Alan Lastufka co-own DFTBA Records, a label that signs successful YouTube-based musicians. Karine Polwart (born 1971) is a Scottish singer-songwriter. She writes and performs music with a strong folk and roots feel, and her songs cover a wide area, from alcoholism to genocide. Despite winning the Horizon Award for Best Newcomer at the BBC Folk Awards 2005, Karine Polwart is no newcomer to the folk world, having previously been a member of Malinky and Battlefield Band. Her solo career is new, and it is for this that she has been particularly recognised.
Mindy Smith (born June 1, 1972 on Long Island, New York) is an American singer-songwriter. Mindy rose to fame in 2003 when she was the first artist signed to contribute to the Dolly Parton tribute album Just Because I'm a Woman: Songs of Dolly Parton, on which she sang a cover of Parton's classic "Jolene". Later Dolly Parton followed by adding backing vocals to a new mix of the song, which was then featured on Smith's debut album that was released in January 2004, One Moment More.
