Ssion

New album Bent to drop May 2012. As an BFA student at the Kansas City Art Institute, Ssion leader Cody Critcheloe produced an animated short called The Lemon Cookie Revolution. Effectively, and often hilariously, blurring the two most popular definitions of "cult" beyond recognition, Critcheloe imagined himself poisoning his heroes with delicious snacks of the film's title, thereby assuming a place among them in the cred-fed indie pantheon.

Lee Mortimer

Bio...
Having been born in the 80s, Lee had to rely on his Dad's extensive collection of early funk, soul and disco for decent musical inspiration. The likes of Stevie Wonder, Bootsy Collins and Prince have a lot to answer for regarding Lee's early infatuation with funk-ladden house grooves. Introduced to production via the lethal combination of the Commodore Amiga and the legendary OctaMED tracker, Lee was just 13 when he was laying down tunes. But it was DJ-ing that first truly enticed him into the pleasures of aural entertainment.
