There are two bands calling themselves 'The Feelers.' The more established act is a New Zealand Rock band formed in the early 1990s in Christchurch by James Reid (singer/guitarist), Andy Lynch (lead guitar) Matt Short (Bass) and Hamish Gee (Drums). The Feelers got a record deal with Warner Music and released their first album, SuperSystem, in 1998. It was the second biggest selling album in New Zealand that year.

Decoder Ring was formed in 2001, in Sydney, Australia. Original line-up consisted of Matt Fitzgerald ( keyboards, guitar) Geoff Towner (bass, El Mopa), Pete Kelly (guitar, Sea Life Park), Kenny Davis Jr (keyboards, piano, The Jackson Code, The Blackeyed Susans) & Thomas Schutzinger (drums). Original line-up recorded the EP "Spooky Action at a Distance" (2002) and album "Decoder Ring" (2002). Geoff Towner departed in 2003 and was replaced by Ben Ely (Regurgitator).

There are two bands called Wild Strawberries: 1) Wild Strawberries is a Canadian pop band made up of married couple Roberta Carter Harrison (vocals) and Ken Harrison. Interestingly, the former is a physiotherapist and the latter is a doctor. They have released a number of albums, their latest being Deformative Years in 2005. The band's early releases were produced independently, leading to the creation of the Strawberry Records label. After the successful Bet You Think I'm Lonely album, the band partnered with Nettwerk for the production of their albums.

Duke Garwood’s first paid musical job was back in the late 8o’s playing guitar on The Orbs seminal “Perpetual Dawn” taken from they’re debut album co-produced by Youth. Nearly twenty years and many musical wanderings later Duke Garwood is about to release an album on Youths new label Butterfly Recordings. You could say that some sort of cycle is completed. Garwood’s 1st album “Holy Week” came out to great critical acclaim last year.
