SCHIZMA is one of the longest running and most popular, also internationally, Polish Hardcore bands. The band was formed in 1990 in the city of Bydgoszcz, Poland. During the 14 years of the bands existence the band went through a lot of line-up changes, however, since the beginning until today it has been true to the non-conformist sound of hard core and to the ethics of independence.
At a time where image seems more important to a band then music, THE DEAD WALK! are a breath of fresh air, bringing back old school hardcore to the forefront and embracing a time where message meant more than image. There is one band called DYS and one band called Dys. Last.Fm mixes them up: 1.) Formed at ground zero of Boston's legendary straight edge hardcore scene, DYS, stood for "Department of Youth Services" but they jokingly told everyone it stood for "Dave You Suck".
They rose out of SS Decontrol's Boston Crew, going on to help establish the city as a center of the movement along with Negative FX and Last Rights.

Poison Idea was formed in 1980 in Portland, OR by vocalist Jerry A. (aka Jerry Lang). The initial lineup consisted of Jerry A., Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts (guitar), Glen Estes (bass), and Dean Johnson (drums). Inspired by Black Flag and other early Southern California hardcore acts, they were further influenced by Discharge and Los Angeles's the Germs. Germs singer Darby Crash was a strong influence on singer Jerry A.—vocally, lyrically, and philosophically—was monumental, and Poison Idea followed the Germs’ extremist punk ethic.
