Poison Idea

Poison Idea was formed in 1980 in Portland, OR by vocalist Jerry A. (aka Jerry Lang). The initial lineup consisted of Jerry A., Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts (guitar), Glen Estes (bass), and Dean Johnson (drums). Inspired by Black Flag and other early Southern California hardcore acts, they were further influenced by Discharge and Los Angeles's the Germs. Germs singer Darby Crash was a strong influence on singer Jerry A.—vocally, lyrically, and philosophically—was monumental, and Poison Idea followed the Germs’ extremist punk ethic.

New Morality

Band bios are usually a bunch of regurgitated bullshit overfilled with descriptive words and adjectives that add up to, well, bullshit. Getting quickly to the point here; NEW MORALITY from The Netherlands was formed late 2004 by a bunch of friends with the same hardcore mindset: pure anarchy. In the past years, they've self released a demo, compilations, an MCD, a split 7" and a recent promo CD, played various shows all over Europe and the band pretty much booked all of those shows by themselves.

Strength For A Reason

Strength For A Reason (SFAR), one of the cornerstone bands of the Pennsylvania hardcore scene, was born in 1997. Originally comprised of members from Out To Win with Karl fronting the band on vocals, SFAR refocused themselves as a full-time band and obtained members that would be solely dedicated to the project. With music that gets your blood-pumping from the first note to the last, SFAR is a powerhouse within today’s hardcore music scene.

No Turning Back

In this day and age where hardcore bands come and go with the speed of light NO TURNING BACK are holding true to what they originally set out to do and they're not planning on giving up, ever. Starting out in 1997 as 16-year olds in the barren south-eastern parts of The Netherlands, music was their only means of venting their anger and frustration of not fitting in, in a world that seemed sick and cold to the bone. Since those days the band has come a long way.

Ohm

There are at least three bands called Ohm, one from Stockholm, Sweden and another from South Africa and lastly Chris Poland's Ohm: from L.A california. Ohm: is a Chris Poland (a former member of Megadeth who has also worked with Lamb Of God) experimental jazz fusion project formed by Robertino Pagliari and himself. The band was formed in 2002 and has released 3 LPs and a live album up to date. It should be noted however, that ohm is incorrectly tagged on last.fm... the true title of Ohm: includes a colon, according to Chris Poland this is due to their constantly changing drummers.

Wasted Youth

There have been at least three Wasted Youths. The first Wasted Youth were a punk/new wave group from Canning Town in east London who released several records on the Bridge House label in the late 70s. Similarly to early Only Ones their sound was very Lou Reed influenced. The first two singles "Jealousy" and "I'll Remember You" remain classics of their kind The second (sometimes known as "LA's Wasted Youth") was a band in early 80s from Los Angeles, California, who played classic hardcore punk.
