The Silent League

The Brooklyn-based orchestral pop band THE SILENT LEAGUE originated as the solo identity of singer Justin Russo in the late nineties. While a keyboardist with Mercury Rev in support of the critically acclaimed albums "Deserter's Songs" (V2) and "All Is Dream" (V2), Russo secretly stole each available moment in a busy tour schedule to write and record his own fragile and epic LP, "The Orchestra, Sadly, Has Refused".

Andrew Gordon

There are, at least, two artists known as Andrew Gordon, both Scottish: 1) A songwriter. 2) A folk singer. 1) A Scottish songwriter, based in Portsmouth, UK. Born in a modern-day barn, out of sight & near some small animals - a desperation to learn the ways of the ivories manifested itself, in the mind of the child & in quick succession song-worthy events occurred. Out of those ashes came Andrew Gordon; a boy with no greater faith in life than in love. Love lost, love found & the love of cigarettes.
