The Wiyos -
Vaudevillian Ragtime Blues, Hillbilly Swing and Old Time Country
The old-time spirit of The WIYOS mirrors that of the
medicine shows of the 1920's and 30's, when black
and white musical traditions mixed liberally and
genre distinctions didn't exist between blues and
country, ragtime and gospel, or swing and hillbilly
music. Accordingly, The WIYOS write songs that are
equally influenced by music from the Blue Ridge
Mountains and New York City, mixing the more
urbane sounds of Django Reinhardt, the Gershwin

Brighton based Birdeatsbaby formed sometime in 2006 with the intention of breaking away from current musical trends. This piano driven female fronted cabaret rock band, with the unusual addition of a string section, creates a sound impossible to pigeon hole, but recent live reviews have included 'a female divine comedy with behavioral problems '. Live shows are theatrical, highly entertaining, frightening but fragile, with brutally honest and witty lyrics.

Kurt Julian Weill (March 2, 1900 – April 3, 1950), born in Dessau, Germany and died in New York City, was a composer active from the 1920s until his death. He was a leading composer for the stage, as well as writing a number of concert works. Over fifty years after his death, his music continues to be performed both in popular and classical contexts. The Tiger & Me are architects of sing-along good times, dark-edged pop-leaning folk and side-leering swagger. Their feverish live shows wring the full gamut of emotion from their audiences as frenzy gives way to restraint and menace becomes charm. Described by Inpress Magazine as "Cabaret/Circus/Euro Indie Folk-Pop Wunderkinds", The Tiger & Me exploded onto the music scene in 2010 with the launch of their debut album and subsequent performances at The Port Fairy Folk Festival, The Falls, The Apollo Bay Music Festival and The Hills are Alive.
