On An On

On a cloudy night in Austin, Texas during the annual SXSW festival, the three members of ON AN ON were waiting in line to see Mike Snow; they were a bit sweaty, undeniably hungry, and, well, kind of drunk. The Chicago & Minneapolis-based musicians – Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing — that comprise the band had played music with one another in various capacities for the better part of a decade — most recently as members of indie-pop outfit Scattered Trees, with whom they were performing that very weekend.

Sean Nicholas Savage

Sean Nicholas Savage is from Edmonton, Ab and makes great pop music with nice hooks. He is currently living in Montreal. Sean Nicholas Savage co-wrote and sang lead on many songs for the Silly Kissers debut album. Sean has been prolific in his output, and has put out several albums under his own name, as well as numerous side projects. Under his own name, he has released: Summer 5000, Little Submarine, Sunshine Melodies/Weird Daze, & Spread Free Like A Butterfly.

Slowdive

Slowdive is a / band that formed in 1989 in Reading, England, United Kingdom. Signed to Creation Records in 1990 and initially championed by the British music press, the band scored a UK top forty entry with their debut album Just for a Day. The band consists of Rachel Goswell (vocals/guitar), Neil Halstead (vocals/guitar), Nick Chaplin (bass), Christian Savill (guitar), and Simon Scott (drums, 1990-1994, 2014-present); additionally, Ian McCutcheon replaced Scott from 1994-1995. Goswell and Halstead had known each other since early childhood in Reading, Berkshire.

Loop

1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong and influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.

Exlovers

Exlovers have wasted no time since forming in early 2008 and have already completed UK tours with Cheeky Cheeky and The Nosebleeds, I Was A Clubscout, Pete and the Pirates and a mammoth 30-date tour with Golden Silvers. They have also performed on the Sunrise Stage at Latitude Festival, and have found time to record a four track EP, of which the band made 200 in handmade packages, with three tracks produced by Tim Holmes (Death in Vegas) and one by Sleeping States.

Bel Canto

Bel Canto (italian translation of "Beautiful Singing") is a Norwegian music duo fronted by Anneli Drecker. Signed originally to Belgian label Crammed, their style has evolved over time from a gothic ethereal sound to synth-based pop influenced by world music.
The Band was founded together with Geir Jenssen. He left after the second album in 1990 and pursued a solo career in ambient music as Biosphere.

Sleepless

There has been more than one artist to use the name Sleepless. 1.Sleepless is a Dark Progressive Metal band from Israel, they released Winds Blow Higher in 2001 and now they are split-up. 2.Sleepless is from Tucson, Arizona, formed in 2009. 3.A hungarian deathcore band from Székesfehérvár. 4.Sleepless were originally known under the German name Die Schlaflosen. Formed in 1982 when guitarist Arch Stanton met up with Singers Cloudia Wintermute & Lucretia, and bassist Roland Hammerl. They immediatly found they had an amazing chemistry together and improvasation was the key to their sound.

Youth Lagoon

The dreamy, reverb-laden outlet of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Trevor Powers (Boise, ID), sharing his emotions in every drop of his music, leaving no room for any sort of privacy. The debut album, The Year of Hibernation, is eight lush arrangements that capture a deep sense of yearning. Powers' influences include baroque-pop artist Chris Garneau, Cocteau Twins, as well as folk artists such as Townes Van Zandt.

CHIMERA

There are several bands called Chimera:
1) Chimera are a band from Belfast, Northern Island. Formed in 1990 the Band revolved around the extraordinary voice of Eileen Henry. Sounding like a cross between Cocteau Twins and Cranberries this band should have gone on to be as big as either of these bands. Other band members included Steven Emerson on bass, Willie Vincent on drums, and Ted Laverty on guitars. The album "Lughnasa" (the Celtic God of Harvests) was released in 1993 and had two spin off singles - "Ellis Bleeds" and "Cyan Daze".
