The Brooklyn-based orchestral pop band THE SILENT LEAGUE originated as the solo identity of singer Justin Russo in the late nineties. While a keyboardist with Mercury Rev in support of the critically acclaimed albums "Deserter's Songs" (V2) and "All Is Dream" (V2), Russo secretly stole each available moment in a busy tour schedule to write and record his own fragile and epic LP, "The Orchestra, Sadly, Has Refused".

Kirsty McGee is an established singer-songwriter who emerged as part of the "new acoustic" scene (including such alumni as Elbow and I Am Kloot in her native Manchester. No.5 is Kirsty McGee's first album with her full band the Hobopop Collective, it was recorded live, in one take, at the Contact Theatre in Manchester. The Hobopop Collective include Mat Martin, Nick Blacka and Rob Turner. The special guests performing with them on the No. 5 record are James Steel of The Brute Chorus, Christopher Cundy from Guillemots and Clive Mellor (Richerd Hawley Band).

Coffins are a Japanese death-doom metal band, formed in 1996 by guitarist and vocalist Uchino. Having gone through several lineup changes in the past, they now consist of Uchino, Ryo (drums) and Koreeda (bass). Their sound is influenced by old school '80s and '90s doom metal, death metal and thrash metal. After several demos they released their 1st full-length album "Mortuary In Darkness" in 2005.

There is more than one artist referred to as Children of the Night.
