The Seekers

The Seekers were a group of Australian folk-influenced popular musicians which was formed in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, in 1962. They were the first Australian popular music group to achieve significant chart and sales success in the United Kingdom and the United States. Following the death of Ritchie Valens, Montez became one of the leading rockers of the Hispanic community of Los Angeles, California.
