The Sun Blindness are a psychedelic band - based in Melbourne, Australia. Formed in 2004, they play druggy, dreamy, harmony-driven psychedelia. Indebted in spirit to bands such as the 13th Floor Elevators and The Doors, their sound channels & celebrates 45 years of psychedelic music history. 2008 saw the release of their debut album 'Like Pearly Clouds' in Australia by indie label Sensory Projects.

Amon Düül II (or Amon Düül 2) is a German rock band. The group is generally considered to be one of the founders of the German rock music scene and a seminal influence on the development of Krautrock. Contrary to their colleagues in Amon Düül I, founding members Chris Karrer, Peter Leopold, Falk Rogner, John Weinzierl and Renate Knaup placed high value on musical ability. With their first album Phallus Dei (God's Penis) in 1969 they created what is considered to be a milestone in German rock history.
Slint was a math rock band consisting of Brian McMahan (guitar and vocals), David Pajo (guitar), Britt Walford (drums), Todd Brashear (bass on Spiderland) and Ethan Buckler (bass on Tweez). They formed in Louisville, Kentucky, United States in 1986. Though they disbanded circa 1991, they are considered to be a major influence on the post-hardcore, math rock, and post-rock scenes. Slint's first album Tweez was recorded by legendary engineer Steve Albini in 1987 and released in obscurity on the Jennifer Hartman Records label in 1989.
Once upon a time, there was an artist named Spaceship. He was feeling quite despondent about making music. It seemed a superficial means to an end, and ultimately a waste of time. He decided at once to do something about it. He decided to do something for charity. The result is As the Head Turns, an album wherewith half of all the financial contributions would go to some particular charity. After much debate and research, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, or NAEH, was the final choice.

San Francisco’s Moon Duo was formed in 2009 by Sanae Yamada and Erik Johnson (Wooden Shjips). Inspired initially by the legendary duo of John Coltrane and Rashied Ali, Moon Duo counts such variant groups as Silver Apples, Royal Trux, Moolah, Suicide, and Cluster as touchstones. Utilizing primarily guitar, keyboards, percussion and vocals, the duo plays space against form to create a primordial and disorienting sonic stew.
There are three bands with the name Lowrider. 1) Emerging onto the Adelaide music scene in late 2003, the foursome met through the city's tight knit music community after playing in different bands. Brothers Paul and John Bartlett aka Papa John and Mr Cee, teamed with Scott Duncan aka Scotty D and Joe Braithwaite to form Lowrider. Their distinct sound has been developed organically drawing from very diverse influences including Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye, Curtis Mayfield, The Roots, Mos Def and Erykah Badu.
Sequoia is (1) a band from Chicago. They released their debut album, "Monday Morning" in 2005. Their sophmore album, "Time to Change", was released in May of 2008. In 2009 they added Cully Johnston from Grinner/Powers on guitar and in 2011 released their third full-length, "Couple Two Tree." It was engineered/produced by Allen Epley (Shiner, The Life and Times) and Eric Abert (The Life and Times, Ring Cicada) and recorded at Matt Talbott's (HUM) studio, Earth Analog.
