Samsara Blues Experiment

Samsara Blues Experiment are a Berlin based band, founded in Summer 2007 by leadguitarist/singer Christian Peters. They went through several changes in the first period but are in constant line-up since September 2008 featuring Hans Eiselt (guitar), drummer Thomas Vedder and Richard Behrens (bass). As the band name implies, three elemental aspects are to notice - the blues as the foundation where it all comes from, the inclusion of spiritual influences accompanied by Indian/raga music and the experimental approach to mix up varied elements in a convincing manner.

Loop

1) Loop was a South London band founded in 1986 by Robert Hampson and his then wife, Bex. Loop's sound was characterized by strong and influences in addition to the minimalist mayhem of The Stooges and MC5. Their songs were almost uniformly harsh and repetitive, with indecipherable vocals buried under layers of noisy guitar riffs and metronomic drumming. Some of the records featured covers of Suicide, The Pop Group and Can as bonus tracks.

Zero Pilot

Formed in 2008, Zero Pilot comprise a direct link from the alt-rock scene that proved popular in the 90s with overtones of thrashy, grunge-metal and raging melody commonly associated with the more recent post-hardcore movement. Brought together from performance heavy backgrounds they have the credentials that can only be achieved by slogging it out in small venues and busting their asses to get heard. Enjoy

Aver

AVER. Here's the challenge, listen to a couple tracks and try and decide what genre they are, even they don't know. Some sort of bastard child of Stoner Rock, Psychedelic, Space Rock and Grunge. In any case it's heavy and it's groovy and it doesn't sound like any other band out there. If those sound like good things to you, they reckon you'll dig them. Enjoy sober, or otherwise. Luke: Lunar Fiddle
Jed: Earth Tremors
Chris: Tribal Rhythms
Burdt: Guitar/Vocals
