Syntheme

Syntheme is the moniker for the music of Global Goon performed by Louis Helena Wood. They have 3 EP’s on Planet µ Records (Vol.1, Vol.2 & Vol.3), and Lov3 from WeMe. There are other tracks available on her myspace page. Their new album "Lasers’n’shit" is out now on Planet Mu. Their works make heavy usage of sophisticated acid and bass lines upon solid drum sequences, ambient soft synth layers, and occasionally various heavily-edited audio samples. Syntheme brilliantly fuses very fresh minimal techno with the robust and harmonic foundation of mid-90’s acid.
