UK-based composer, producer and musician Volitune makes acidic techno with the addition of bass guitar. His passion for funk records, oldskool acid house, early braindance and Detroit techno influences his sound. Melodies aplenty with a keen interest in old and modern synthesis. He released his first EP ‘Binary Waves’ in 2008 and has supported artsists including DMX Krew, Mrs Jynx and T-woc in both London and Berlin.
There are 2 bands with the name Aus: 1) Born in 1983, Aus is the talented Yasuhiko Fukuzono from Tokyo, Japan. Yasuhiko Fukuzono is an experimental video score, ambient breaks and sound artist from Tokyo, Japan. His third LP, "Sonorapid", mixes floating ambient electronics and gentle female vocals with glitch rhythms. He started his journey in the world of music at the age of 4, when his family sent him to attend piano classes.
Jodey Kendrick has released a 12" EP on Rephlex, named Indus Silver Club. He has also made music as +10 and +10 Acid Crew in the genre of braindance
Florian Hecker was born in 1975 in Augsburg. Florian Hecker has been working with computer music, independently and in collaboration with other artists such as Farmersmanual, Russell Haswell, Shunichiro Okada, Peter Rehberg, Marcus Schmickler and Yasunao Tone since 1996. One of his first publications was a Remix of the title "Ped Stang" from Chicks On Speed.
He published his work among other things on the Viennese Label "Mego". At the present time he lives and works in Vienna.
1. As a young primary school boy, Shinra first started his audio experiments on his trusty Amiga 600 computer, producing goodness knows what with OCTAmed 4 software. As the years went by, he spent many long hours on the decks in his living room, djing progressive house to an audience of just himself :( Fast forward to about the year 2000, when he first obtained a cd by the mighty Aphex, and his musical tastes were forever changed. Since then, Shinra has been banging out crazy tunes on his laptop like nobody's business.
