Known for their part in the burgeoning Seattle music scene of the early 1990s, their distinct punk rock sound gained a reputation for its uncompromising vision and bluesy street punk aesthetic.[1] They were known for their fiery live performances and retained a dedicated following both during and after their existence.
1. KAIA is a Norwegian music maker. She makes pop in a very wide sense of the genre, a bit of this and a bit of that forms a distinctive Kaia-sound. She recently released her first single "Peanuts and Jellybeans" and her debut-album is due August.
2.Kaia Wilson is a musician from Portland, Oregon, best known as a founding member of both Team Dresch, a revered 1990s queercore punk band and The Butchies, a pop-rock spin-off from her solo work. In addition to singing, songwriting and guitar, Wilson co-established and operated Mr. Lady Records.
There are two bands with the name Witch Hunt: 1) Witch Hunt is a Philadelphia, PA DIY hardcore punk band who formed in 2001. For their first two releases they were on Profane Existence. Witch Hunt currently have three full albums: ...As Priorities Decay (2004), Blood Red States (2006), and Burning Bridges To Nowhere (2009 - Alternative Tentacles) as well as a compilation of unreleased early recordings entitled This is Only the Beginning... The 5.6.7.8's are a female, three-piece, japanese rock and roll band, whose music is reminiscent of American surf music and garage rock. The band formed in Tokyo, Japan in 1986. The band currently consists of founding members Yoshiko Fujiyama (vocals, guitar) and her sister Sachiko Fujiyama (drums) and long-time bassist Akiko Omo. The group have so named themselves because they do 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's rock. They do many covers from American rock and roll records.
Band founders Patricia Day and Kim Nekroman first met when Day's now-defunct band, the punk rock group Peanut Pump Gun, opened for Nekroman's psychobilly band, Nekromantix, at a festival in Cologne, Germany in 1996. Despite both belonging to the subculture scene of Copenhagen, Denmark, the two had never met before, but they became friends over their mutual interest in alternative music. The two would eventually marry.

Their sound is characterized by a mix of energetic drumming, angular guitar and bass riffs, and call-and-response vocals. Their sound is notably influenced by New York No Wave and UK post punk. Love of Diagrams began as a band back in early 2001 and quickly cemented their place as a live sensation amongst the Australian music scene.
The Shondes (from the Yiddish for "shame", "monster" or "disgrace",) are a riot grrrl-influenced rock quartet based in Brooklyn, New York.
