Kaia

1. KAIA is a Norwegian music maker. She makes pop in a very wide sense of the genre, a bit of this and a bit of that forms a distinctive Kaia-sound. She recently released her first single "Peanuts and Jellybeans" and her debut-album is due August.
2.Kaia Wilson is a musician from Portland, Oregon, best known as a founding member of both Team Dresch, a revered 1990s queercore punk band and The Butchies, a pop-rock spin-off from her solo work. In addition to singing, songwriting and guitar, Wilson co-established and operated Mr. Lady Records.

Violent Vickie

Violent Vickie is a multi-media electro-punk band from San Francisco, CA. Inspired by female electronic bands like Le Tigre, Tracy and the Plastics, Miss Kittin, Adult., and Chicks on Speed, she started writing songs in 2003, recording drum machines, keyboards, samplers, guitars, vocals, and other random instruments onto a four track in her parent's suburban home in Southern California. Her lyrics often question society, addressing female stereotypes, TV, addiction, and religion.

From the muddy banks of the River Medway, Dogtown was formed in 2010 creating a sound that is like being violated by a length of splintered 2 by 2 with nails in it; but in a good way. Since that time they have steadily created a fan base in which they want to breakdown the barrier between audience and band with members often jumping down from the stage whilst performing into the crowd at gigs, and encouraging audience members on to the stage.

Gertrude are an all- female post-punk band based in London. They started in 2006 when members Ayesha and Iona met in a large communal house in the East End of London. They began as a reaction to Brit-pop blandness and a perceived lack of female role-models in the London punk scene. Gertrude are a DIY band and have organised their own tours in Europe, Canada and the US. They have played at Ladyfests in a number of different countrys including the UK. They are influenced by the DIY punk- ethos, riot-grrrl and jazzy and inventive strands of post-punk.
