Pekka Kuusisto

Pekka Kuusisto (born in 1976 in Espoo, Finland) is a Finnish classical violinist. Pekka Kuusisto began studying the violin at the age of three. His first violin teacher was Geza Szilvay at the East Helsinki Music Institute. In 1983 he enrolled in the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. He began to study there with Tuomas Haapanen in 1985. He studied with Miriam Fried and Paul Biss at the Indiana University School of Music from 1992 to 1996.

Formed six millennia ago, and practicing only every other leap year on a full moon, the band has perfected their brand of crushing . On a cold, dreary winter night in July of 2006, Nicholas Von Doom and Tim were in the woods engaging in general tomfoolery when they stumbled upon a mysterious cardboard box with their names crudely inscribed with a Sharpie® Permanent Marker.

Little Casino

Little Casino is a 5-piece Alternative Rock band from Brisbane. Playing a unique form of music that fuses 60's melodies, reverberated guitars and beautiful vocal melodies that swings from punchy pop to ambient noise, it's hard to not to enjoy a Little Casino set. After forming in late 2010, Little Casino released an independent EP mid-2011 which got nation wide indie and JJJ radio play, and are in the process of tracking a second record that's sure to take the band to the next level. Fauve

Geneva-born Nicolas Julliard decided to become Fauve in 1999. His previous non-career moves include various participations in unknown bands such as Grammar & Use and Illford. Fauve explores the margins of songwriting, blending pop, minimal electro, Broadway melodies, easy-listening and bossa-nova. French magazine "Les Inrockuptibles" awarded him a spot in their annual compilation CD "Ceux qu'il faut découvrir". That was in 2004, when Fauve was known as Sombre. Since then, Fauve has collected enough material to produce his first album, released in spring 2006 by Gentlemen Records.

Conlon Nancarrow

Conlon Nancarrow (b. October 27, 1912, Texarkana - d. August 10, 1997, Mexico City) was an American-born composer who lived most of his life in Mexico. Nancarrow is remembered almost exclusively for the pieces he wrote for the player piano. He was one of the first composers to use musical instruments as mechanical machines, utilising their capacity to play complex polyrhythms at tempos far beyond human performance ability.

www.myspace.com/officialcortes In 1999, Cortes won the lead role of Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny, in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty's Theatre in London's West End. It was in this role that he discovered his ability to sing high notes. "I'd been having a bad evening and I was miserable, felt I wasn't even good enough to be in the chorus. Then in my next scene I went up to the C sharp and it just stayed there.
