Hal

There are several artists using this name: 1) Ultra-hooky, dramatic vocal harmony-drenched tunes. Echoes of the Beatles, Harry Nilsson, the Beach Boys, and Phil Spector are everywhere. Hal go beyond imitation and use their influences, as a good band should, as guides and not blueprints. Tim Sendra-All Music Guide.
Dublin 3-piece, Hal, formed in 2003 and were signed by Jeff Travis to Rough Trade Records in 2004. Their eponymous debut album was produced by Tears for Fears’ Ian Stanley, and released to critical acclaim in 2005, producing two UK and Irish top 40 chart hits.

serious sam

A development company, Croteam, invented a game, Serious Sam. It pwned.
They released a sequel, Serious Sam 2, which also pwned. This music is from the second game - Serious Sam: The Second Encounter. It was during some snow level, where you kill a lot of headless suicide bombers. Weirdly, I'm not lying.

Machinae Supremacy

Machinae Supremacy is a metal band from Luleå, Sweden. Their musical style is based on the use of the Sidstation synthesizer, which incorporates the SID (Sound Interface Device) of the Commodore 64 home computer. The retro-electronic sound is blended with a metal sound to produce a special kind of "SID-metal" . Their album Redeemer (released March 18th, 2006 as an 'Underground Edition'), was described by the band in an interview as everything DXM (Deus Ex Machinae, the debut album) wasn't. It was re-released on November 8th, 2006 as a remixed version under Spinefarm Records.
