Kate Ryan

Kate Ryan (born Katrien Verbeeck on July 22, 1980) is a Belgian World Music Award winner. She began her singing career in 2001 and represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 with "Je t'adore" coming in 12th place in the semi-final. Ryan was born to Belgian parents in the small village of Tessenderlo, Belgium. She grew up in a musical family, and had talent for music at a very early age. At eight years of age she had learned to play the piano and guitar. She had singing and piano lessons from her aunt who teaches at a conservatory, but had other interests too.

Aqua is a - dance-pop group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single Barbie Girl. Initially forming as Joyspeed in 1989, the band was renamed Aqua in 1994 and achieved huge success across the globe in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles. The group released two albums: Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, before splitting up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 33 million albums and singles, making them the most successful Danish band ever and the second most successful Norwegian band.

She started her career in 1970s, but achieved a chart success in the 1980s working with the famous Stock Aitken Waterman team. Dean was elected three times as the 'Best Live Performer' by the Federation of American Dance Clubs (U.S.), and twice as a 'Best British Performer' by Club Mirror awards (UK). Her biggest hits, were "Whatever I Do" (A track originally recorded by Michael Prince called Dance Your Love Away, re-written by Stock Aitken Waterman because Hazell disliked the chorus) and "Who's Leaving Who" (a remake of the Anne Murray hit)...

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Moony (real name Monica Bragato) is a musician from Italy known for the many dance tracks coming from her debut album Lifestories. Among the notable singles from the album are "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)", "Acrobats", and "Flying Away". Raised in Venice, Moony was first noticed singing in the Venetian club scene and was tapped to do vocals for a number of songs by DJ and producer Cristiano Spiller.

Group fronted by Sedric Johnson (b. Alabama), currently resident in California. The leader of the 100-strong Long Beach Choir, he was spotted at a soul revue by Englishman Will Mount, who was on the lookout for a singer. After an impromptu performance Will Mount, who together with producer/remixer Rollo forms the musician team behind Gloworm, was won over. They anchored Johnson's gospel inspired vocals to a club beat to produce memorable records like Lift My Cup and Carry Me Home, both based on traditional songs.
