Boston's DOOMRIDERS are sonically antisocial and undeniably unforgettable as they come. DOOMRIDERS are comprised of a stellar lineup featuring Nate Newton (Converge, Old Man Gloom), along with longtime friends Jebb Riley (There Were Wires, Disappearer), Chris Pupecki (Cast Iron Hike), and JR Conners (Cave In). The demon child of their collective unhealthy obsession with Classic Rock, Hardcore, and Skateboarding, DOOMRIDERS are a rare beast in today's music world. Their soulful no frills approach conjures the spirits of Thin Lizzy, Entombed, and damn near every evil in between.

Jerry Kandiah came to England from the Cayman Islands where he met Hedge Seel and later formed the melodic death-metal outfit Necromonica in 1991. After several years touring across London’s underground venues and a session on BBC Radio 1’s Rock Show, the band’s interests turned to warehouse squat parties and outdoor raves. Kandiah then formed Arkatek with Necromonica guitarist and churned out acid techno tunes on their own label, Skyride Records as well as others including Stay Up Forever and Cluster.

Paul Dagnello and Roger Lavallee both speak the language of people who are obsessed with music and the gear used to make it. I try to listen and learn, but their references are often so esoteric that it's obvious that I'm only pretending to know what they're talking about. My contributions are little more than echolalic gibberish, and I usually have to wait until they return to speaking English before I can really join the conversation.

Though they have changed their style over the years, Cable was originally part of the first wave of bands playing in the so-called noisecore style (as it later became known), combining a hardcore/emo aesthetic with a rhythmically complex, often discordant metal-influenced musical approach.
