The Jeff Lorber Fusion

The Jeff Lorber Fusion released their self-titled debut album in 1977 on Inner City Records. Supported by a revolving cast of musicians including longtime drummer Dennis Bradford, Lorber recorded five studio albums under this moniker. These early releases showcased a funky sound influenced by other jazz fusion practitioners like Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and Return to Forever, the latter's Chick Corea appearing on several noteworthy Fusion cuts.

As a young kid growing up in San Jose, Chris Manak soon realized he needed an escape from the realities of suburban life in the Silicon Valley. The age of nine was his coming of age. This was the year he discovered sports (Pittsburgh Pirates), video games (Pac man), girls (Anita Balderama), and hip hop ("Rappers Delight"). Alongside partner Sweet Steve, young Chris fashioned primitive mix-tapes (using the pause button) and ran amok at the local roller rink.

Dntel is the solo project of Jimmy Tamborello. Dntel is known for mixing glitch and cut-up electronic techniques with instruments like acoustic guitars, accordions, and symphonic instruments. Dntel is also the project that spawned The Postal Service. He started working as Dntel, pronounced Din-tell, in 1994. A collection of tracks created between 1995-1997 (Early Works For Me If It Works For You) was released on the Phthalo label in 1999, followed by the release of an EP recorded in 1994 (Something Always Goes Wrong) in 2000.

It all started back in 2001. There was a radio show that changed his life. Two gentlemen (DJs Carlo & Truhlik) were delivering the best house records. He didn't know at that time this was music which will change him so much...Actually, he wasn't listening to it, he recorded it .He listened to that session on another day and fell in love with house music. Next episode was enjoying tons of house radio stations all over the world during studies at college. Another big influence came up very quickly, it was the famous PlanetSoul Network radio.

At age 4, began playing classical Piano and by reaching age 10, Hideo discovered new form of music, techno pop, which inspired his musical talent. At age 15, He began recording tracks he composed with synthesizer , sequencer , rhythm machine and performing live at local clubs. He then joined production of club music and released his first techno sounding record in 1995. Going forward, he focused on production of electronic beats and sounds which inspired Tokyo club scenes.

Bohren & der Club of Gore

Bohren & der Club of Gore are a band founded in 1992 in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany by Thorsten Benning (drums), Morten Gass (keys), Reiner Henseleit (guitar), and Robin Rodenberg (upright / double bass). They play a crossover of and , which they self described as an "unholy ambient mixture of ballads, Black Sabbath and down tuned Autopsy sounds". Over the years they have continously reduced and compressed their music to extremes.
