Damascus

There is more than one Damascus on last.fm. 1. Damascus is an ambient instrumental metal band from New Jersey. Their debut album "Salutations, Distant Satellite!" was released in May 2011. A second ep, "Of Whom I Always Think", was independently released by the band on October 1st. A third, drone-based release entitled "prière d'espoir", was released on 7th November, 2012. 2. Damascus was a classic NWOBHM band based in Merseyside. They released the rare 'Open Your Eyes' 12" EP and a demo in 1984.

There are at least five bands with this name. 1) Digger is a lyric driven pop punk band who were from Allentown PA. Their members changed over the years (1996-2002) but their sound reamined the same. Good energetic pop punk. 2) Digger is a band from Poland 3) Digger was the name for the German heavy metal band Grave Digger for a short period of time. The band worked under the name Grave Digger from 1980 (the year the band was formed) to 1987, when their original guitarist Peter Masson departed and was replaced by new guitarist Uwe Lulis.

Mercy

1) American one-hit wonder pop group from Florida. They released an album in 1969 entitled Mercy - Love Can Make You Happy; this peaked at #38 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 200 chart[1] as a result of the success of their hit single, "Love (Can Make You Happy)". The tune spent two weeks at #2 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, and also peaked at #2 on the Adult Contemporary chart. 2) Metal band from Sweden. The death of its remaining member in 2005 ended the group, which generally passed unnoticed.

Gene Loves Jezebel is a gothic rock band from the early 1980s founded by twin brothers, Michael and Jay Aston. Michael Aston (vocals) was the poetic, goth-leaning side of the twin brothers while Jay Aston’s distinctive banshee-like, wailing vocals supplied Gene Loves Jezebel with one of their many trademark quirks.
Originally called Slav Aryan, Gene Loves Jezebel began in 1980 with the brothers, guitarist Ian Hudson, and a drum machine.

David J. Haskins (b. April 24, 1957, in Northampton, England) is a British alternative rock musician. He was the bassist for the seminal goth band Bauhaus. J wrote the lyrics of several Bauhaus songs (including their first single, Bela Lugosi's Dead. He sang backing vocals on many songs, and sang lead on Who Killed Mr. Moonlight? when the lead singer, Peter Murphy fell ill with pneumonia. L.A. Guns

L.A. Guns is a sleaze metal band that has had a "revolving door" policy, as the band has experienced numerous line up changes throughout its storied career. They are notable for being one of the few bands associated with the glam metal movement to have consistently released new material despite their style of music falling out of favor with the rise of grunge in the early 90's. L.A. Guns was formed in the early 80's with Michael Jagosz on lead vocals, Tracii Guns on lead guitar, Ole Beich on bass, and Rob Gardner on drums.
