Hell Is For Heroes

Hell Is For Heroes were a British band who formed in Camden, London, in September 2000. Will McGonagle and Joe Birch were previously in the band Symposium. After leaving their record label EMI in 2004 following the Payola scandal, they released their second album independently before signing a deal with Burning Heart Records, who subsequently re-released it in 2006. The band's third (self-titled) album was released in June 2007. September 2000 Hell is For Heroes formed

FRANKENBOK 2012 Hailing from Melbourne Australia, Frankenbok was born kicking and screaming in 1997. Now with 4 albums and 2 EP’s under their belt, their most recent release, deftly titled “THE END OF ALL YOU KNOW”, is by far the bands heaviest work to date. Musically it is a real blend of heavy metal styles, ranging from thrash, to punk to southern rock riffage and straight up heavy metal, all with a very Australian flavour and distinctive sound that the band have crafted over a 15 year existence.

Sonora was formed in Ottawa in 2000, by long time friends Wil Richardson (Lakeport Auto Electric), jacob earl, Dana Clow, and Shaun Peppy. They released their debut EP, "Road 44", in 2002. Though they have not performed live since 2004, they remain active as a recording band. 2.

Brutal Truth

Brutal Truth is a New York City-based grindcore band that was formed in 1990 by ex-Anthrax and Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker. Brutal Truth was one of the pioneers of grindcore who enjoyed world wide success, particularly in Japan and Australia. Originally signed to Earache Records, on which they released two albums, 1992's Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses, and 1994's Need to Control, as well as an EP entitled Perpetual Conversion, and a 7" single for the song "Godplayer".

Limp Bizkit is an Nu-metal band that started in 1995 and often credited with the popularization of the genre sometimes dubbed nu metal. The band is currently signed to Geffen Records and was previously signed to Interscope Records; both labels are part of the Universal Music Group. Their albums have sold over 50 million copies worldwide. Limp Bizkit consists of vocalist Fred Durst, bassist Sam Rivers, drummer John Otto (Rivers’ cousin), and turntablist/samples player DJ Lethal.

Soulfly

Soulfly is a thrash metal band formed in 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona. Led by founder, frontman, songwriter and only constant member Brazilian Max Cavalera, who formed the band after he left influental Brazilian death/thrash band Sepultura in 1996. The band has released six studio albums, one tour EP, several singles, and two DVD videos. Soulfly incorporates diverse heavy metal styles with Brazilian tribal and world music.

The Deadlights

When a Stephen King novel influences a band's name, one knows they must be hard and heavy. Such is the case with the Southern California quartet The Deadlights. Their name signifies the name of the lights at the end of the tunnel after a near-death experience. The band was created by vocalist Duke and drummer Jim Falcone. The duo added Jerry Montano on bass guitar and Billy Roan on lead guitar to round out the group.
