Dana Fuchs

http://www.danafuchs.com/ The youngest of six musical children, Dana was raised in Wildwood, Florida. At the age of twelve she joined the First Baptist Gospel Choir and began singing in public. At sixteen she was fronting a popular local band at a roadside Holiday Inn. She moved to New York City at nineteen. She began collaborating with Jon Diamond, a guitarist who had toured with Joan Osborne and W.C. Handy Award winner Debbie Davies. They formed the Dana Fuchs Band. The band was a feature act at a number of clubs, performing with the likes of John Popper, James Cotton, and Taj Mahal.

Chris Alastair

Chris Alastair (say "allister") is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from New York who's now based in London. Though best known for his funny spring-break anthem Spring (is Friggin' Awesome) (see Videos) he's a classically-trained, award-winning songwriter and performer whose recordings span a range of rock, pop, funk, and acoustic styles. Born in in North Africa to American and British parents, Chris was raised in the United States playing brass instruments in jazz bands and youth orchestras and singing a variety of choral work.

Rev Run

Joseph "Run" Simmons or Rev Run was born on November 14, 1964 in Jamaica, Queens. He is best know as one third of rap legends Run-D.M.C.. Simmons began using Rev Run as a stage name after he was ordained as a reverend priest in Zoe Ministries. His first work as Rev Run was a feature in the single "Song For Lovers" by UK pop band Liberty X in September 2005. Later in 2005 "Distortion" Simmons' first solo album came out. The first single, Mind On The Road is featured in the EA Sports Madden NFL 2006 video game.

Pat Benatar is a four-time Grammy winner with six platinum and four gold albums to her credit as well as such hit singles as "I Need a Lover", "Heartbreaker", "Fire and Ice", "Treat Me Right", "Hit Me With Your Best Shot", "Hell Is For Children", "Shadows of the Night", and "Love Is a Battlefield". Benatar is acknowledged as one of the leading female rock vocalists in the industry. She was born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York, USA, on January 10th 1953, as Patricia Andrzejewski and graduated Lindenhurst High on Long Island in 1971.

Mingus Big Band

"The Mingus Big Band is a jazz band, based in New York City, that specializes in the compositions of the late Charles Mingus. The band is managed by his widow, Sue Mingus. In addition to its weekly Monday night appearance at the Jazz Standard/Blue Smoke Barbecue in New York City, The Mingus Big Band also tours frequently in Europe and other parts of the world." The band are most notable for their very unique big band sound, which consists of many different parts all weaving around eack other to great effect.

Dr. Octagon

Dr. Octagon is one of Kool Keith's many alter egos. His initial release as Dr. Octagon was 1996's Dr. Octagonecologyst, on which he collaborated with Dan the Automator Nakamura and DJ QBert. After the name was dropped in favour of Dr. Dooom, it was widely believed that it wouldn't be used again until the release of 2006's The Return of Dr. Octagon, which Keith maintains was changed and released without his consent.

Death Before Dishonor was an up and coming Boston Hardcore band in 2004 when Bridge Nine and DBD teamed up to release "Friends Family Forever." Now it's 2006, and Death Before Dishonor is a band you cannot ignore.
