Black To Comm
Black To Comm is an alias for Dekorder label owner Marc Richter's audio excursions. Richter creates his music using scratchy shellac and vinyl records, field recordings, a so called "kitchen gamelan," and more traditional instruments like organs, guitars, pianos and mbiras. The layering and hypnotic repetition of short loops from Psychedelia, Free Jazz, Vaudeville, and various other old recordings reveals alternative melodic dimensions not apparent in the source material.

Norm Skipp is a NZ/UK composer/sonic artist, video artist and online editor/compositor based in Manchester, UK He creates innovative sound and visual compositions often in collaboration with a diverse range of artists. He completed a Music degree (composition) in New Zealand in 1994 studying with Jack Body, Ross Harris, John Elmsly and John Rimmer. Filament, consists of former Ground Zero members Otomo Yoshihide and Sachiko M, two of the defining artists of the onkyo music movement. In contrast to the dense, "chopped up", genre-hopping style of Ground Zero, Filament explores minimalist free-improvisation, concerned often with narrow-variations in tone and timbre usually without rhythmic structure or more than the slightest fragments of melody.

Marcus Schmickler
German composer Marcus Schmickler first came to prominence as a member of POL, the project formed by Carsten Schulz (C-Schulz) that released Transomuba (1994), that mixes field recordings, world and techno music, and Baby I Will Make You Sweat (1995), the (vastly inferior) soundtrack to a movie. Schmickler then recorded Wabi Sabi (1996), an avantgarde work of computer-generated drones that updated Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music to the digital age. Onea Gako (Odd Size, 1994) was credited to Marcus Schmickler, and it was co-arranged and produced by C-Schulz.

Arnold Dreyblatt
Arnold Dreyblatt (b. New York City, 1953) is an American composer and visual artist. He studied with Pauline Oliveros, La Monte Young, and Alvin Lucier and has been based in Berlin, Germany since 1984. His compositions are based on harmonics, and thus just intonation, played either through a bowing technique he developed for his modified bass, a children's piano he specially tuned, or conventional instruments.

YASUNAO TONE (刀根康尚) was one of the first Japanese artists active in composing "events" and improvisational music. He has been active in the Fluxus movement since 1962 and has also been an organizer and participant in many important music and performance groups such as Group Ongaku, Hi-Red Center, Team Random (the first computer art group organized in Japan). Primarily a composer, Tone has worked in many media, creating pieces for electronics, computer systems, film, radio and television, as well as environmental art.
