Hamsters

The Hamsters are a Bluesy, Americana and Rock trio formed in England in 1987.
They're often thought of as the hardest-working band in the country and performed their 4000th gig in July 2008. Although primarily 'themselves', they are regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of the music of Jimi Hendrix, and also ZZ Top. (They don't dress up for it either - or any of that nonsense - they just play the songs...)

The Yardbirds are mostly known to the casual rock fan as the starting point for three of the greatest British rock guitarists: Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, and Jimmy Page. Undoubtedly, these three figures did much to shape the group’s sound, but throughout their career, the Yardbirds were very much a unit, albeit a rather unstable one.
