Manyfingers

Bristol-based multi-instrumentalist Chris Cole is a collaborator with Matt Elliott/Third Eye Foundation and a drummer for various bands. His music layers delicate melodies on acoustic instruments on top of each other, with subtle electronic effects. In his live act, he uses a loop pedal to build up his multi-layered pieces part by part, as he moves from instrument to instrument, including cello, piano, drum kit, accordion and acoustic guitar amongst others. Some of his music involves odd time signatures and multiple layers of the same instrument.

Rumpistol

Born in 1978, Jens Berents Christiansen is the man behind Rumpistol. He likes to work in the crossfield between melody based pop music and experimental sounds, but always maintains his characteristic warm sound. With great influences from dub he delivers an interesting take on electronica, click-hop and downbeat. Rumpistol's self-titled debut album was released in 2003 on Rump Recordings, and he has played many concerts in Denmark and abroad since then.

hunz

Hunz is a three-piece electronic pop band, spearheaded by Brisbane-based electronic musician and producer, Hans Van Vliet. With a background in music programming and motion design, Hans pulls his notes out of a binary soup of ones and zeroes, hand-crafting synth patches and beats from scratch. The result is a mix of pulsating, glitchy electronics and ethereal vocals that hint at the sinister, but succumb to the pleasure of pop hooks instead.
