One of the most powerful forces in the goth metal underground, Thine stepped into the spotlight in the late '90s and continued to make waves throughout the next few years. It all started in 1996 when singer Alan, guitarist Paul, and drummer Dan came together due to their love of heavy music. Putting together the rough Journey's demo later that year, a member of Black Tears Records' staff heard the record and recommended them to be signed.
Black Light Burns is an American alternative / hard rock band from California with industrial and gothic aspects, created by Wes Borland. The band's recording lineup consists of Borland himself, along with Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), and Josh Freese (The Vandals, A Perfect Circle,Nine Inch Nails,Devo). Their debut album, Cruel Melody, was released in early 2007.
Tiamat is a metal band that formed in Täby, Sweden in 1988. Their music has been the subject of debate, utilizing subgenres like black metal, progressive, doom/death and gothic, but more recently they have focused on what has been described as atmospheric gothic metal with ethnic, psychedelic and experimental elements. Forming in Melbourne in 2006, Rainshadow merge melancholy and darkness with melody and rock. Latest album 'Waters Imperium' contains ten tracks that explore ideas of loss and separation as well as the beauty found in depressing places. The focus is on doomy guitar riffs with keyboards and catchy choruses to truly capture the atmosphere. With tracks played on national radio station Triple J and coverage in international media, Rainshadow aim to become permanent players in the dark rock/doom

He formed Crowhead in1999.
Rym joined Jo-I, and they recorded a demo cd with Jonas Groth and also Tommy Skarning as session musicians.
Crowhead released the “Love Letter” demo CD in the summer 2000.
Crowhead joined MY KINGDOM MUSIC for the release of the debut album “Frozen”
Crowhead recorded “frozen” in “das bunker studio” Norway.

Nemesea is a symphonic rock band founded by vocalist Manda Ophuis and guitarist Hendrik Jan de Jong in September 2002 in Groningen, The Netherlands. The band currently consists of Manda Ophuis (vocals), Hendrik Jan de Jong (guitars), Sonny Onderwater (bass), Lasse Delbrugge (keyboards) and Steven Bouma (drums). In April 2003 the band had their first performance as support act for After Forever, and remained that band's support for a year.
Lacuna Coil, formerly known as Sleep of Right and Ethereal, is a gothic metal band formed in Milan, Italy in 1994. The band consists of Cristina Scabbia (vocals), Andrea Ferro (vocals and keyboards), Cristiano Migliore (guitars), Marco Biazzi (guitars), Marco Coti Zelati (bass and keyboards), and Cristiano Mozzati (drums and percussion). In 1994 Andrea Ferro and Marco Coti Zelati formed Sleep of Right, but soon changed their name to Ethereal, and signed to Century Media at the end of 1997.
Scream Silence is a dark rock band that was founded in Germany in 1998.
In 1999, their first album To die for was music magazine Orkus's album of the month. With the success of the first album, Scream Silence could go on tours with bands like Christian Death and Dreadful Shadows. Two years later, in 2001, the successor The 2nd, climbed up to be the number 1 in all European charts. On the subsequent tour they were the main band and they played in Wave-Gotik-Treffen.
