Emiliana Torrini
Emilíana Torrini Davíðsdóttir. Born 16 May 1977 in Kópavogur, Iceland. Singer-songwriter Emilíana, best known for her international debut album, Love in the Time of Science - a glossy trip-hop affair in collaboration with Tears for Fears' Roland Orzabal. In collaboration with Dan Carey, her second major album release, Fisherman's Woman, signified a major departure from her earlier electronic roots to an acoustic-folk sound; applying the ethereal beauty of her voice in a much more intimate setting akin to fellow countrymen múm's recent endeavours, and folk-royalty Nick Drake.
Jakokoyak
Jakokoyak is a Welsh lo-fi experimental electronic music project, with leanings towards psychedelic folk. Welsh experimental Folktronica act Jakokoyak is the brainchild of Rhys Edwards. A native of Mold in Flintshire, Wales. Edwards began recording as a sophomore at University. Working and recording alone, he began perfecting and exploring old keyboards and effects pedals. On the brink of desolation, this solitude is reflected strongly in distinctive Jakokoyak sound. As with any compleity, the music requires attentive and active attention.
Open System
Open System are Michael Martin & Matt Hillier. The two decided to combine forces in 2003. The pair are also working on a new ambient/IDM project called Octophonic (also featuring the late Jake Stephenson otherwise known as Ganja Beats). Matt's main project is Ishq, with his partner Jacqui. They are based in Cornwall, UK, and have been writing music since about 1994 under various names and guises. They have released 3 solo albums to date and 3 collaboration albums on various labels including their own label Virtual.

The Vines
The Vines are an Australian alternative rock band originally formed as Rishikesh in 1994 in Sydney. They play a musical hybrid of 1960s garage rock and 1990s alternative music. Until 2011, their line-up consisted of vocalist and lead guitarist Craig Nicholls, rhythm guitarist Ryan Griffiths, bass guitarist Brad Heald, and drummer Hamish Rosser. In December of 2011, Channel presenter Jane Gazzo confirmed via Twitter that Griffiths and Rosser had been "sacked" from the band.
