There are 2 artists under the name Freyr: [1] Freyr is a project begun by T.E. Greenway in 2007 to syphon ideas not usable elsewhere. [2] Formed in mid-2012, Freyr began writing and recording with plans to gig in early 2013. Drawing influences from Jimmy Eat World, Mae, Paramore and other bands in the genre, Freyr are aiming to create catchy songs with a powerful live performance. Richard Parker are a Leeds (UK) based Post Rock band. Taking Influences from band such as Explosions in the Sky and This Will Destroy You and Russian Circles.

Thisquietarmy is the experimental guitar-based project of Eric Quach from Montreal, Quebec, Canada - active since 2005. Revolving around improvised drone music, he takes his sonic experimentations further by adding textural and structural elements of post-punk, shoegaze, krautrock, post-rock, black metal and doom metal to them. The results can be described as dark, melodic, expansive and engaging dreamscapes. His live performances are mostly presented as a real-time score to hypnotic ethereal visuals, which he creates himself for each performance.

Artist Paul Rooney was born in Liverpool in 1967, and trained at Edinburgh College of Art. Paul’s practice focused from 1997 to 2000 on the music of the ‘Rooney’ CD’s and performances. Rooney achieved an appearance in John Peel’s Festive Fifty in 1998, and a ‘Peel session’ in 1999. Paul now primarily works with text, sound and video, focusing on the ‘voices’ of semi-fictional individuals, and using or referencing narrative forms such as short stories, songs, audio guides and sermons.
