(1) Formed in 1985 in Preston, Lancashire, British thrashers Xentrix (pronounced Zen-tricks) began their careers by playing metal covers before focusing all of their efforts on coming up with original material. Initially known as Sweet Vengeance, guitarist/vocalist Chris Astley, guitarist Kristian Havard, drummer Dennis Gasser and bassist Paul Mackenzie created enough of a stir through their live performances that the English branch of Roadrunner Records took notice and signed the group in January 1989.

Herman's Hermits was an internationally successful 60s British band, from Manchester, England, formed in 1963. Part of the British Invasion, their trademark simple, non-threatening, clean-cut "boys next door" image made them easier to listen to and more accessible than other British Invasion bands. Their first hit, "I'm Into Something Good", was produced by Mickie Most, reaching #1 in the UK (1963) and #13 in the US (1964). Other hits followed such as "Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter" (1965) and "I'm Henry VIII, I Am".

The Maladies Of Bellafontaine

In January 2006 a coquettish little Welsh girl and her swarthy Spanish lover rustled up a blueprint which appeared to provide a solution to the world’s insipid musical malaise. Acoustic assistance was required and so the pair hopped atop the nearest hillside, bellowing to the heavens their request for likeminded hairy helpers. The clarion call was responded to by a quartet of tousled troubadours and The Maladies of Bellafontaine were forged.
