---------- 1) Skye Edwards is a British singer, born 1974 in south east London. Until 2003, she was and now again is, the lead singer of the band Morcheeba. Edwards decided to shorten her name to Skye by taking the first letter of each of her names (Shirley Klarisse Yonavive) and putting them together. She has also sung on two charity collaborations, Perfect Day 1997, in aid of BBC Children in Need and Band Aid 20, in 2004, in aid of famine relief in Sudan, Africa. Edwards has two children, a son and a daughter.

CHINA SHOP BULL from Leeds, West Yorkshire have been shmoozing the UK Scene since 2004, by combining infectious riffs, dubby brass with dance beats and some hyper stage activity, China Shop Bull have created a unique blend of Ska/Rave/Rap/Rock n Roll. Chester P

Joey Coombes (born March 21, 1976), better known as Chester P, is a much respected rapper in the UK hip-hop scene. A founding member of Taskforce, Mud Family and Bury Crew, Chester earns particular praise for his freestyle capability. His rap name is taken from a psychedelic British comic book from the 1970s, "Brainstorm" (written by Bryan Talbot). His lyrics are as notable for their leaning towards mythology and esoterica as for their descriptions of life on the streets of north London.

Slowdive

Slowdive is a / band that formed in 1989 in Reading, England, United Kingdom. Signed to Creation Records in 1990 and initially championed by the British music press, the band scored a UK top forty entry with their debut album Just for a Day. The band consists of Rachel Goswell (vocals/guitar), Neil Halstead (vocals/guitar), Nick Chaplin (bass), Christian Savill (guitar), and Simon Scott (drums, 1990-1994, 2014-present); additionally, Ian McCutcheon replaced Scott from 1994-1995. Goswell and Halstead had known each other since early childhood in Reading, Berkshire.

Akasha

At least five bands have used the name "Akasha." The first was a Norwegian spacey, electronic prog band, who recorded one album in 1977. For more information on the band, visit progarchives.com. The second Akasha is a Swedish group consisting of five women. The group was inspired by Sri Chinmoy's poetry and songs, and started to sing and play together in 1982. Since then the group has been giving concerts in Sweden regularly and has also been on tours in Finland, France, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.

The Sorrows

The Sorrows are considered perhaps to be the archetypal "Freakbeat" band. Formed in 1963 in Coventry, England, they released their first album "Take a Heart" in 1965 on the Piccadilly Records label which was a subsidiary of Pye Records. The Sorrows were at the time the hardest, most aggressive and contemporary R&B band of that time, although later this brand of music was eventually termed "Freakbeat".

Joker’s Daughter is a project featuring vocalist, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Helena Costas. This fresh folk-pop excursion reveals new facets of the renowned artist and producer Danger Mouse, who collaborates with Costas throughout. Born in London but Greek Cypriot by origin, Helena Costas studied violin from ages 7 to 13, then taught herself guitar and keyboards. As she became an adult, her mission came into focus. She wrote songs relentlessly, learned the art of production, and gained confidence as a performer as she played gigs around London.
