The Big Pink

A drummer with a seriously impressive CV that includes Vivian Girls, Crystal Stilts and Dum Dum Girls, Frankie Rose opted to strike it out on her own and with the help of backing band 'The Outs' will release her self-titled debut album on September 20 2010.

Bluebeard
There are at least two artists with the name Bluebeard Bluebeard is a now defunct Japanese band. Some of the founding members went on to form the band AS MEIAS. Also, one of the guitarists plays in Naht. Bluebeard are an American rock band formed in the early 70s.
They have recently released their first new album in over 25 years, entitled "Deluxe With Reverb".

Dean & Britta
Dean & Britta is a musical duo consisting of Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips, both former members of Luna. Wareham had formed Luna in 1992 after leaving his first band, Galaxie 500. Phillips joined Luna in 2000, replacing bassist Justin Harwood. Their first album started out as a Wareham solo project, but when he heard Phillips' demos, he asked her to join him. After Luna broke up in 2005, Dean & Britta spent the next year working on film scores (most notably Noah Baumbach's movie, The Squid and the Whale), and promoting the documentary film of Luna's farewell tour Tell Me Do You Miss Me.

Dead Gaze
R. Cole Furlow fronts Dead Gaze, a skuzzy but very poppy lo-fi band out of Mississippi. In 2010, after Dead Gaze's first cassette release, End of Days, Why Not You on Mirror Universe, the group released a split with Gray Things on Clan Destine. Opposition
There are at least two bands with this name. 1) The Opposition are a long running post-punk band from London, England that featured Ralph Hall, Marcus Bell and Mark Long, and mixed new wave sounds with reggae rhythms. Founded in 1979, The Opposition released their first single on the independent record label Double Vision records. This was called "Very Little Glory" which the NME (New Musical Express) reviewed and said that it was "a song recorded before its time".

Damon & Naomi
Damon & Naomi are an American folk-rock duo formed in 1991 by Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang, both formerly of Galaxie 500. After Galaxie 500 completed a tour of the US supporting The Cocteau Twins, guitarist and vocalist Dean Wareham quit the band, forcing the cancellation of an imminent Japanese tour. Damon and Naomi had recorded a few tracks before the split and these were released under the name Pierre Etoile by Rough Trade (UK) in June 1990.
