Elliott Sharp

Elliott Sharp (b. Cleveland, Ohio, March 1, 1951) is an American multi-instrumentalist, composer, and performer who has personified the avant-garde experimental music scene in New York City for over thirty years. He has released over sixty-five recordings spanning the musical spectrum from blues, jazz, and orchestral music to noise, no wave rock, and techno music. Sharp describes himself as a lifelong "science geek,"[1] having modified and created musical instruments from his teen years.

Maja Ratkje

Maja Solveig Kjelstrup Ratkje, composer and performer (born Dec. 29th 1973 in Trondheim, Norway), finished composition studies at the Norwegian State Academy of Music in Oslo in 2000. Her compositions have been performed by Oslo Sinfonietta, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Arve Tellefsen, Cikada and Vertavo string quartets, Quatuor Renoir, ticom, Crash Ensemble, Torben Snekkestad, Spunk, Frode Haltli and Poing among others.

Korekyojinn

Korekyojinn (???; Korekyojin) is a Japanese progressive Rock trio led by drummer Yoshida Tatsuya (????), of Ruins and Koenji Hyakkei (?????) fame. The trio is completed by guitarist Kido Natsuki from Bondage Fruit and bassist Mitsuru Nasuno from ALTERED STATES, Daimonji and Ground Zero. The group was formed in 2009, when they released their first album Korekyojin. They released two recordings, Korekyojin and Isotope, under John Zorns label Tzadik.

Ikue Mori

Ikue Mori moved from her native city of Tokyo to New York in 1977. She started playing drums and soon joined the seminal no wave band DNA, with fellow noise pioneers Arto Lindsay and Tim Wright. DNA enjoyed legendary cult status, while creating a new brand of radical rhythms and dissonant sounds; forever altering the face of rock music. In the mid 80’s Ikue started in employ drum machines in the unlikely context of improvised music. While limited to the standard technology provided by the drum machine, she has never the less forged her own highly sensitive signature style.

Jeremiah Cymerman

Jeremiah Cymerman is a remarkable clarinetist and conceptualist who now resides in Brooklyn. He has performed and recorded with Matt Welch, Sam Kulik, Mary Halvorson and Jessica Pavone among many others. The bulk of his work centers around creating a new language for the clarinet through extended techniques and the manipulation of microphone placement and Pro Tools editing. His debut album, In Memory of the Labyrinth System (2008), presents several radical studio compositions that take the sonic language of the clarinet to some startling and surprising places.

Lukas Ligeti

Lukas Ligeti is a composer and percussionist. His work incorporates elements of jazz, contemporary classical, and various world musics. Lukas Ligeti was born in Vienna, Austria into a remarkable artistic family with ancestors such as violinist Leopold Auer (teacher of Heifetz and Milstein), architect/designer Marcel Breuer, and, of course, his father, the great composer György Ligeti. Lukas himself focused on writing and science during his school years, taking up the drums only after graduating from high school.

Michael Allan Patton (born January 27, 1968, in Eureka, California) is an American , , , , and video game voice actor, best known as the lead singer of the band Faith No More from 1988 to 1998, which recently reunited in 2009 and will be touring Europe this summer. He has also handled lead vocals and composed music for Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, Lovage, Fantômas, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Moonchild Trio and Peeping Tom.
