"Born 1979 Bournemouth, Dorset. Started Directorsound in 1998 while Studying in Colchester. Moved to London for a while before settling back to Dorset by 2002 and been there since. Now residing in sunny Bournemouth. Released debut "Redemptive Strikes" 2003 on Geographic and Felicity in Japan. Then collected the earlier recordings for "Tales from the Tightrope Vol.1" released by Dorset Paeans, then Powershovel audio in Japan. Also recorded with Plinth, the rural tradition, Sharron Kraus,Hideki Kaji and Katrina Mitchell and am one half of The Alords with Mike Tanner of Plinth. "

Emit is a British ambient/black noise band consisting of four members, a guitarist/vocalist, two percussionists and another vocalist. The band formed from the remnants of a short-lived black metal band of 1998 called Ante Cryst. They continued from there, playing experimental black metal/noise (black noise) and gaining some notoriety in the underground scene (as other black noise like Nebiros and Stalaggh popped up, and labels like Todestrieb and Autumn Winds began representing them).
