Funkadelic

Funkadelic was originally the backing band for the doo wop group, The Parliaments. The band was added in 1964, primarily for tours, and consisted of Frankie Boyce, Richard Boyce and Langston Booth. They enlisted in the army in 1966, and George Clinton (the leader of Parliament) recruited Billy Bass Nelson and Eddie Hazel in 1967, then also adding Tawl Ross and Tiki Fulwood. Vic Godard & The Subway Sect

In 1976, Godard formed Subway Sect with three other fans of the Sex Pistols at the suggestion of Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, who wanted another band for the line-up of the 100 Club Punk Festival. Despite their inexperience, Subway Sect made a successful debut at the festival. They appeared with The Clash on the White Riot Tour in 1977 and released their debut single, Nobody's Scared' / 'Dont Split It', in March 1978.

Swing Out Sister

Swing Out Sister are a British pop musical group best known worldwide for their 1986 hit single Breakout. The group presently comprises Andy Connell (born Andrew John Connell, Jul 26, 1961, Nottingham; keyboards) and Corinne Drewery (born Sep 21, 1959, Nottingham; vocals), though it began as a trio in the United Kingdom. The group was initially formed by Connell and Martin Jackson (drums), in 1985 who were later joined by Drewery.

Perkele

There are 2 artists under this name;
1.Perkele started in late 1993. by four guys, Ron vocals and guitar, Jonsson drums, Olof Bass and Anders Guitar. Perkele recorded the first demo tape ”Nu får det vara nog” in the beginning of 94 and next one ”Det växande hatet” in late 94, the band did so many gigs that they became a well known punk band in their hometown, the sound was back in the days very fast punk with Swedish folk music influences a sound that you still can hear even today. After a while Anders got tired of playing music and left the band and Perkele became a three member band.

Rescue Rangers

Fall 2005, a group of stoner from the south of France (who just giggle at the back of the room as I frames?) we unclog savagely eardrums blow slats good rockin, bass thumping at will and a heat wave that was feeling damn good to hear. Name: Rescue Rangers, the subject of crime: Masters of the middle finger, an EP 4 tracks urgent and angry, which feels like big fat rock run along the Grand Canyon, under a blazing sun (in the rain Nord-Pas de Calais, the pleasure was not the same ... obviously).

Two Time Polka

Two Time Polka formed in Cork in 1994 and have developed a distinctive sound that has its roots in Cajun, Zydeco, and Bluegrass music. They have built up an enviable reputation for turning out excellent live shows, including numerous performances at Irish festivals such as The Kilkenny Country Roots, The Dun Laoghaire Festival of World Cultures, The Cork Jazz Festival, The Galway Arts Festival, The Waterford Spraoi, The Cork Folk Festival to name but a few.

W.A.S.P.

W.A.S.P. is an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 which gained notoriety for its"shock rock"-image, music and live performances. The band, formed in Los Angeles, California, initially consisted of Blackie Lawless, Rik Fox, Randy Piper and Tony Richards. The band initially became famous for its raunchy and at times shocking live shows; Lawless was known to tie semi-naked models to a torture rack and hurl raw meat into the audience. The band's debut single, entitled Animal (Fuck Like a Beast), was equally controversial.
