Susan
There are at least two Susans. 1. Susan (born Susan Nozaki) was a pop singer who recorded in Japan in the early 1980s. She is half-American and half-Japanese. Her music is technopop in style, mainly featuring synthesisers and drum machines. Her records were released by CBS in the UK, though no single ever reached the top 40. In Japan, Epic Sony released her music. She was known to collaborate with various members of Yellow Magic Orchestra and other Japanese producers of the time such as Kazuhiko Katoh, Hajime Tachibana and Keiichi Suzuki.

Meli'sa Morgan
Meli'sa Morgan's solo career got off to a great start in 1985, as her cover of Prince's "Do Me Baby" topped the R&B chart. She was previously a part of the groups Shades of Love and High Fashion. She recorded for Capitol from 1985 to 1987, and enjoyed two more Top Ten R&B singles with "Do You Still Love Me?" and "If You Can Do It: I Can Too!" before moving to Arista. Her duet with Kashif, "Love Changes," earned her another R&B hit that year, reaching number two. Her 1990 album, "The Lady In Me" gave Morgan a Top 40 R&B chart hit with the New Jack Swing song "Can You Give Me What I Want.

Though widely known as an innovator and "godfather" of punk rock, Pop's music has encompassed a number of styles over the years, including pop, hard rock, jazz and blues. By tapping into equal parts the krautrock experimentation of Can, the Neue Deutsche Welle of DAF and the UK post-punk dub of PiL and Joy Division they created sounds and songs unique enough to catch the attention of Factory Records, who made them their first American signing.

Marta Marrero (born May 18, 1969 in Whittier, California, USA), better known as Martika, is a Cuban-American pop singer. As a child she dabbled in acting making her film debut as one of the dancing orphans in the film version of "Annie". As a teen she would star as 'Gloria' on the syndicated children's variety show 'Kids Incorporated'. After outgrowing her role, Martika would turn her focus towards her first love, music.
