Founded in the late 80s, the band made its break-through 1991 with their album "Bumm", which dealed mainly with the communism rule in Bulgaria and other political and social topics actual at this time in the country. Azis (Азис) is a Bulgarian pop-folk singer. His real name is Vasil Troyanov Boyanov, and is of Romani descent from Sliven, Bulgaria. Azis has caused some controversy in Bulgaria for being openly gay, for defying gender stereotypes in public while performing and in private life, and for his campaigning on behalf of the downtrodden Roma (Gypsy) minority.
