Charlotte Greig is a cardiff-based folk singer-songwriter. Her songs are dark and haunting, recalling the bleakest traditional folk songs of death and loss. Her music is fairly minimalist - harmonium and brooding electric guitar - music for dark winter nights

Nanook of the North

Cwtch
Cwtch (pronounced 'kutch') is a musical collaboration between Marie Craven (Pixieguts) and Paul Foster (Dementio13). Cardiff-based Dementio13 and Australia-based Pixieguts became online collaborators in 2008. The music is a mixture of melodic electro, folk-tinged electronica and post-rock with impressionistic lyrics and themes. Lyrics are from the writings of Pixieguts, TRavvy, Titee, Nita Disaster, Adrian Carter, Reconsiderate, Lynne DeSilva-Johnson, Dementio13, Gunda G.
Stephen Wheel
Steve’s dreams were realised in April 2007 when he met Woody Allen in the Carlyle, New York. Since then he has been busy making his album with drummer Gareth Dylan Smith and lots of other brilliant musicians. Snow Angels, completed in 2009, is out now. Winter and Williams Band
Winter and Williams Band are an acoustic band hailing from Cardiff Wales integral to the blossoming Cardiff Acoustic scene. The band’s stylistic influences reveals a mix of alt rock, R&B, funk, jazz, soul, folk, and reggae. 2003. P. Winter toiled around the city at open mic nights at the forefront of a new fresh acoustic scene. This time also impressioned by DJs resident at the Toucan; their excellent use of soul,funk,hip-hop beats and of the House party DJs from Traffic the Dance Appreciation Society and the buzzing bands at Uncle Midriff's jazz society.
Survivalists
Launched in January 2011, Survivalists pulled a big crowd to their debut show at Buffalo Bar, Cardiff, with Samoans and were swiftly rebooked. Since then things have been moving quickly and the band recently recorded their debut EP 'The Last Bastion' with Producer Charlie Francis (REM, SFA). Their influences include LaFaro, Billy Talent, Hell Is For Heroes, Fighting With Wire and Placebo. SURVIVALISTS Bringing the noise to those of you still left alive.
Neon Neon
Neon Neon is a collaboration between the artists Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys. They first worked together on Boom Bip's Blue Eyed in the Red Room album, released in 2005. Their debut album, Stainless Style was released on March 18th, 2008 through Lex Records. Their first single Trick for Treat is also out, and can be heard on their myspace page. The album "Stainless Style" was nominated for the 2008 Mercury Prize.
