There are at least 5 bands named Fields: 1) Fields were an Anglo-Icelandic electronic/indie band formed in London comprising Nick Peill (Vocals/Acoustic Guitar/Keyboards), Þórunn Antonía (Vocals/Keyboards/Synths), Henry Spenner (Vocals/Drums), Matty Derham (Bass Guitar) and Jamie Putnam (Electric Guitar). In early 2006 the band played their first live shows. This sparked a furious bidding war amongst UK record companies. They eventually signed a unique deal with Atlantic Records which allows them to keep releasing records through their own Black Lab Records set-up as well as Atlantic.

On the 8th day of february in 2006 Steed Lord was born in New Crack City. It was the day that Kali received a house beat from Demo as a birthday present.

Kontinuum

1) Kontinuum Icelandic Ambient Metal
Kontinuum started as the brainchild of Birgir Thorgeirsson, a founding and current member of dark metal act Potentiam. The seed of Kontinuum started way back in 2001 when Birgir teamed up with former Potentiam drummer Kristjan Heidarsson to record an EP called Burned and Battered under the band name Pornea. This was an experimental metal project mixing doom with punk and dark atmospheric metal.

valgeir sigurdsson

Valgeir Sigurðsson (born 1971) is an Icelandic record producer, mixer, composer, engineer and programmer. He has been Björk's main studio conspirator since 1998 and continues to work with an array of innovative artists internationally as well as in his native Iceland. Biography Sigurðsson studied music and played in bands from early on. At the age of 16, he got his first break in a small Reykjavik studio where he spent days and nights recording band demos and chopping up 1/4" tape.

FM Belfast

FM Belfast is an electronic band from Reykjavík, Iceland. The band formed in late 2005 as a duo with Árni Rúnar Hlöðversson (Plúseinn) and Lóa Hlín Hjálmtýsdóttir. The band was a studio project for some time until the Iceland Airwaves festival 2006 when the band expanded into a full on live act.
