Kira Kira is a constant enigma- extremely hard to define and almost impossible to anticipate. As a founding member of Icelandic art collective Kitchen Motors, she has been a pivotal figure in contemporary Icelandic music, composing music extensively for theatre, dance and film and creating myriad sound and film installations everywhere from Beijing to New York. Taking a particular interest in blurring the lines between music and visual arts Kira has often appeared in castle towers, gallery spaces or curious hidden places and created lasting images of singing black holes...

It’s hard to spot the one side that epitomizes Helgi Hrafn Jonsson: There’s the lean, blond, loki-type of prankster, that would always be up for a laugh, be the joke on him or someone else. There’s the highly trained trombone-player, having toured and recorded all over europe and the U.S. with a vast array of bands and artists (from Voices of Europe to Sigur Rós), but namely with his own group Beefólk, signed to Wolfgang Muthspiel’s material-records label.

On the 8th day of february in 2006 Steed Lord was born in New Crack City. It was the day that Kali received a house beat from Demo as a birthday present.
That beat turned into the first song "You" and a week later "Dirty Mutha" was born 3am on a dark and sleepless night. Biography 2010: Catchy melodies and euphoric compositions constitute Stafrænn Hákon´s sixth album, Sanitas. The songs are yet intense and powerful and an adventurous continuation of Stafrænn Hákon´s last release, Gummi that Gaz – eta described as a wild ride the band again took the listener on.
