Damian Schwartz
Damián Schwartz´s weakness began at an early age although it wasn´t until he turned 15 did he come in to contact with techno and electronic music. At the same time Damián came across CMYKmusik and from this encounter arose Musica Charlista, a 50/50 project between Damián and Alex Under. As a producer Damián inclines towards avant-garde, developing multiple musical concepts turning his music into something original and unique.
Thomas Fehlmann
Now that his work with The Orb has earned him a place in electronic music history, Fehlmann is afforded the artistic license to transcend all previous boundaries. His musicality and experimentalist drive converge with exceptional grace and system-bumpin' appeal. Granular hip-hop grooves and exotic chord structures interface with bold, synthetic finesse, while his housier inner child locks down some precision dance-floor cuts immersed in fluidly manipulated filtration.
SND
Mark Fell and Mat Steel formed SND in 1998 and were quickly placed at the forefront of new digital minimalism. With a series of influential releases on their own label SND and on the now defunct Frankfurt Mille Plateaux, SND pioneered a sound that combined the linear minimalism of Ryoji Ikeda and Oval, with the rhythmic geometry of techno artists such as Thomas Brinkmann or Derrick May. SND promote an approach to the organization of sound, space and form that owes more to origami than any time based medium.
The Floe
With a name evoking images of frozen landscapes and endless blue skies, Essex-based quartet The Floe are set to release a debut album of stark beauty. But the Floe aren't just about image or trying to fit in with passing trends, this is a band of real substance, a band to believe in. Within the group there is an alchemy that makes them both distinctive and compelling. Brimming with tales of love, heartache, longing and hope...
